Webster's states that paranormal is a general term that describes unusual experiences that supposedly lack a scientific explanation.

We agree with this to a degree.  We use Nightvision Cameras and DVD recorders, Digital voice recorders , along with Digital Thermometer, K-2 Meters and K-3 Static Meters. 

We are also Licensed General Contractors.  This allows us to better understand homes and other buildings and there little quirks which come with age.  We have been doing parnormal investigating for the past five years.

Night Vision Camers and DVR

We use a DVR Sytem that has four night vision cameras with one having built in sound recording.  These are used to video rooms in total darkness to catch mists, movements, apparissions and shadows.  They are also very useful in keeping up with teams moving in and out of the investigation areas.

Digital Voice Recorders

These are used to record evp's (Electronic Voice Phenomena).  NHP records several hours of evp sessions on every investigations.  After these sessions are complete we use a special computer program to listen to the recordings. 

Digital Thermometers

This device is used to measure the ambiant temperature in a room.  Researchers believe that when an intity is present and trying to show itself it gathers energy as this energy is gatherd it causes the temperature to drop. Now this being said, not every change in temperature is an apperision.  Check all possibilites for this drop such as air vents, window sills, and doors for drafts or leaks.

EMF Meters and K-2 Meters

EMF Detectors and K-2 Meters are used to measure the Electronic Field of an area.  Researchers belive that when an intity is near the emf gauge or the K-2 meters will go up because of the energy that the intity gives off.  But beware, you must do what we call a walk thru first and get a base reading in the area first testing for bad wiring or faulty wiring, power panels, or any other electrical devices that could be giving high emf readings.

K-3 Meters

K-3 meters are a tri-meter.  That not only test for basic emf they also test for static electricity.  We have just recently started testing this unit.  We are refraining from opion on this equipment till testing is complete.
